British Airways held a space traveler costume contest in 50 US cities summer 1998 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the concorde. The whole family threw together some outfits (including the boba fett) and won a total of 8 round trip tickets to london. We planned the ultimate vacation around the cost of not having to pay for airfare. Less than a week after my college graduation and christmas; mom, dad, jennifer, david, jana and me all boarded a 747 for the 12 hour flight to england. During our week-long stay, we saw things and visited places I'll never forget. We even made a day trip to paris near the end of our stay. All in all, the vacation of a lifetime was the perfect ending to four and half years of hard work and provided some much needed excitement before returning to dallas to begin my job search.
